The Apple Store has a counter showing how many downloads the App Store is racking up. It’s insane…no wonder they have £100 Billion in the bank…

Films to see →
There’s been some great blogging around the Oscars this year, and it’s the discussion that the Oscars promote which is always my favourite part.  From this list I’ve seen The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom and it was wonderful, perhaps all the others are worth a watch too !

Russia in color, a century ago - The Big Picture -... →
this is fascinating. a russian photographer between 1909 & 1912 took these photos on Black & White negative film, but took three photos one after the other quickly, changing a colour filter in the camera each time so that in the future, the colours could be combined. It’s hard to believe these pictures were taken 100 years ago…

Pixar - Shading →
I watched Wall E today - to be honest, along with Monsters Inc it’s one of my favourite films. I think Disney Pixar’s commitment to story is second to none. I was looking on their website and came across this article about shading food in Ratatouille. Just found it really interesting.

I’ve been looking for a way to store my bike. I’ve had three stolen in the last three years and decided the only way to keep it safe is to keep it in the house. My bike is my prove and joy, I’ve nearly been killed on it, but it’s still the only enjoyable way to get in to work every morning.
